Ashley is a very sweet malinoi young boy, who was rescued from the streets in Hungary! He was abandoned in the woods as a pup, in the middle of nowhere near Debrecen in Hungary. A lovely gentleman found him and we took him on.
Ashley came to UK to a loving forever home but sadly he was given up and we found out he has Osteochondritis Dissecans (OCD). He was on medication for a few months hoping he will improve. He has now had both shoulders operated on and has made a full recovery.
He is beautiful kind boy who will need a loving and understanding forever home with lots of TLC. He is very friendly, not a bad bone in him. He loves to play and run about, He loves all humans and good with other dogs and cats too. He is fine around livestock and cats. He can also live with children over 10years, parents will need to keep in mind that he’s big and bouncy. He is very a clever active boy. He is looking for a loving and patient home where he can settle down and rehabilitate after his operation. Can you be the one for him ?

This is what his foster mum says:
He is great with other dogs not interested in livestock . He loves a walk is trustworthy off lead, basically does never want to be more than a few yards away. Has gained significant weight ( never going to be a fat dog … Mali’s are always lean it is their metabolism) . He would be a useless “ protection dog” as has the temperament of a cuddly toy … BUT he is alert with a huge bark and rushes to meet visitors, he just has NO NASTINESS. Ashley has separation anxiety so will need a lot of training with this. Adopters need to be around most of the day. He sleeps on a dog bed in my room but if left at night he will destroy his bed. With some good training and routine of feel he could improve. Adopters will need to have had experience with these types of breed and separation anxiety.
